The characters are intriguing. Dexter is likeable as the most unique sociopathic killer ever. Being a psych major, I am intrigued by the sociopath's mind, but this show takes that further and really makes it interesting. Dexter is a good samaritan and a serial killer all in one. It's hard to find a show where you could laugh and at the same time say. "that guy deserved to die", and still remain interested in a show. It's not just witty humor but an odd connection you make to with this fictional serial killer, where at one point you will be routing for him. It does stray from the book, but the adaptation is more than acceptable. The performance form Michael C. hall, is uncanny. makes you wonder what he does after hours or would it takes for him to prepare for such an amazing role. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Sexually abused boys that were murdered, rotted & dug up, a kidnapping, another murder and blood samples, and a dissected woman's body drained of blood and shown in detail (Oh, but the remains "had a great _ss.")
