I don't like horror movies nor am I that big of a fan of gore.. but I could NOT stop watching this series! I can't wait until season 2 comes out and I am having a hard time not signing up for ShowTime just to watch season 3! Awesome for suspense action and thrill! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

But I was glad that I stuck around for the second episode, where it wasn't as gory and Dexter's purpose in the plot became more apparent. After that, I was hooked. I love Dexter. It is my fav show by far. It is the only show I make time to watch every week or to catch the rerun for the week. Sexy man, sexy story, and rooting for the good guys, I think..... WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

It is hard to stop watching. I didn' t think it was nearly as gory as some had said (especially since I am not a fan of gory movies at all!) It was only slightly worse than you can see on shows like CSI. My only issue is the constant cursing. At times it actually seemed like the actors forced a dropping of the f bomb into the conversation just to say it for the 50th time. Hearing it occasionally is typical but it is way over used in this show! Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read Morei have not made any full decision on this show yet. i have been through the hole first season so it has kept my attention yet i would not list it as a top rated show. its hard to like a sort of hero that is a cereal killer. and his personality is stiff and flat. i do not beleave this searies will maintain a long life as it lacks something. but its not the worst show i've seen, though the first i would bump from the dvr if i found another decent show playing at the same time.
