Very good movie. A little slow at times, but there were also some laugh out loud moments to make up for it. Overall, wholesome values, not over the top, and a pleasure to finally see Jackie Chan and Jet Li both in a big budget movie together. Well written movie, left us with the feeling that there were very few holes in the plot at the end.

Two of the greatest martial artist brought together for the first time and this is the best storyline Hollywood could come up with? This was a comedy really, and I guess this movie was directed more at kids. I found nothing believable about any of the scenes. I mean a constantly grinning Monkey King? After being captured in stone for thousands of years, what was he grinning about? Chan and Li are awesome kung-fu artist and the choreography was very good, but the storyline blew chunks.

The story has been told for a millennia. An outcast meets up with an aging teacher to learn how to be a warrior and at the same time completes an important mission to save the world becoming a man in the process. Much like the Karate Kid, this film show the success of the underdog. Although the American actor did not quite fit in this film, the success of all of the Chinese actors carry the film. Jet Li and Jackie Chan's fight sequence is reason enough to watch this film.

Definitely not what I expected at all . . . kind of fantasy versus a kick butt movie . . . Just very disappointed

I am a traditionalist. The movie was good and would of been great if they eliminated the corny american. The other fighters were great and Jacki Chan pulled off the drunken technique with style.

This movie had some of it's moments, but it was not a very good Jackie Chan and Jet Li movie. I was disappointed. I did like the fight scene between Jet Li and Jackie Chan, but other than that. They tried to make a martial arts movie very American and it showed. It wasn't that well done and I was disappointed by the cast. I don't recommend this movie.
