Read More I don't mind watching chick flicks once in awhile as long as they aren't absolutely terrible. Because this is one of the most formulaic genre's, i know how the movie is going to end and one of the 4 probable plot lines that pertain to romcoms. So for the love of God all I am asking for is either the girls BFF or guy's friends to make me laugh once in awhile. Give me a few funny scenes in the movie please. There's nothing funny about this movie, there's 3 jokes the whole movie none of which are funny. I wanted to punch myself in the face for letting my wife talk me into watching the absolute crap. It's sort of missing the magic. I love good romantic comedies (Serendipity for example) and I thought this one would be at least "good". It's just average, if that. Did not feel the chemistry. In addition, the main characterâs lack of back bone gets so bad you quit feeling sorry for her and at that point start fast forwarding through the movie. The only thing I got out of it was when the point was made that if you do something, even if it is soooo deserved against someone or something â and you feel bad after â it probably was a bad decision. The acting was superb! I was expecting more laughter (after reading the reviews) but I found it to be less laughter and cheering for Katherine to pull out of her shell (the role she played) and go after her own happiness!
