All of the Jesse Stone TV movies are with out a doubt one of the best things to come out of TV recently. The pacing is wonderfully deliberate, the character complex and flawed, and Tom Selleck is having one heck of a time on that screen. totally superb. How ever, if you like scotch, Jesse is nearly never with out one...so now I keep a bottle out and join him when ever he is on the tele.

This episode is deliciously enjoyable like the others in the series. Of the four I have seen so far, this one was somehow a little less affecting. I think it is because of a rather explosive twist near the end that seemed slightly over-the-top (think Dirty Harry), but not quite. Otherwise, this chapter still has all of the great elements of beautiful backdrops, excellent acting, intriguing story, and subtle, beautiful music. I absolutely love this entire series. The stories and fine production elements make for satisfying entertainment without blowing walls out. Selleck is solid in all of these.

This was our third "Jesse Stone" movie; I am becoming more and more a fan of Tom Selleck as a dramatic actor, and appreciate the richness of the characters portrayed in the stories. Definitely recommend renting these movies in sequence, and the references to people in the past will be more easily understood.

Had some down time on my queue because no new movies have been released yet. Found this one by accident and we have now watched 2 of the series. Will get the 3rd this weekend and the 4th (Sea Change) next week. I agree that I could watch one of these movies every night. My husband and 14 yo daughter also liked them, though the first we watched was rated R for language and 1 sex scene. Wish there were more..... Recommend highly.....
