These guys and gals rock from beginning to end. High School Musical is truly Americas new talents. They are not commercial sellouts promoting cotton candy music in a Mickey Mouse conspiracy. There is an artistic originality to what they do and this movie keeps with it all. I am waiting on pins and needles to see part 2 but until then keep watching the first one and this one.

I have such respect for the cast. I can't believe that they can dance like that and sing at the same time. Sometimes their voices crack or the lose their breath but it only happens a few times. Overall it's a good DVD for any high school music fan, my sister didn't like it because it didn't have Zac Efron, but she like everyone else. But I do have to say that Ashley Tisdale needs to watch how she dresses, I mean she was doing a concert for kids and she was dressing like a... well I won't say it... but even my 11 year old sister took notice of how little she was wearing.

The biggest sensation in Disney Channel history becomes the concert that no 'tween will want to miss as the stars of the phenomenally successful High School Musical take the stage to perform the songs that fans know and love. Sing along with stars Corbin Bleu, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, and Ashley Tilsdale as they "Bop to the Top" and set the stage ablaze. After the concert fans can direct their own version of the performance by taking part of a special "U Direct" feature in addition to getting a special sneak preview of the highly anticipated High School Musical 2.
