My girlfriends daughters were glued to this like I would be to a David Fincher film.
Good for all girl sleepovers.

Read More All of the wacko horror action happens in the last 3 scenes. This story is so slow, you don't even realize there was supposed to be a mystery going on until the last few scenes. I kept nodding off in the first several scenes. There was no kind of punctuation where it needed a jolt. There was too much pretty-girl-wandering-through-the-house-looking-for-something. It wasn't even scary because it was day time and her friends were nearby in the house. When something does happen, it's boring and trite. I don't know who was talking about good acting in this. The acting is bad enough in some cases you want to laugh. There are 18 scenes including the credits. Nothing remarkable happens until the last few scenes and then it's all over at once. I stuck it out just so I could write this review to warn others off this movie. Very dull. It even had a lame scene near the end with some "spooky music box" music. Amateurish, bland. Read More If the reviewer Wade K. says he predicted this entire movie, he ate too much popcorn or was pre informed of the final 20 minutes. My wife and I sat through and still could not guess who "done it" until the final 15 or so minutes. For that, the movie was worth enough to watch the first 80% of it to get to the final chapter. Good movie if nothing else is avaiable. Wade should turn off the lights, turn up the volume and be by himself for his next tingling adventure - scary movie. It'll work for ya better. I was pleasantly suprised with the quality of the movie. This thriller is worth renting and watching, and you will be guessing until the very end. I thought it was a great cast of characters, and in my opinion should have been big at the box office (I think it was direct to dvd). Anyway, 4 stars for me - you won't be disappointed. Totally unpredictable and if you did predict the ending then you are a genius. I thought it was something else but it it came totally to a surprise to me, good twist. Totally recommend this movie to everyone who likes suspense. Closest movie I have seen close to this movie is "The Gift" with Keanue Reeves, Hillary Swank and others. I am stopping this movie on my dvd player to write how stupid it is right now. It is not even worth finishing the movie for me tonight. Solstice is that retarded. Do not waste your money. They said this had something to do with the Blair Witch Project. Bull Crap! This should be rated G for its child like story line. The special effects are extremely cheesy and the acting sucks.
