Read MoreI found this well acted, well directed, and well photographed German-made film about a relatively unknown but significant Nazie program to counterfit British and U.S. currency during WW II to be excellent. The main characters, both Jewish prisoners and the SS camp commander, were compelling in how each delt with the insane system and situation they found themselves in---few heroes but only the human effort to survive. Read MoreLet me say that I have no problem with subtitles in general, and I watch many foreign films with subtitles. We started the film with the German audio and English subtitles, and found it very hard to follow. It was almost as if there were a technical glitch and every other line was not displayed. At that point, since my wife and I speak French,we switched to the French audio and no subtitles. We really enjoyed the movie, very interesting story and characters.
