I thought the second HSM was amazing! The songs are so much better, the dance moves are awesome, and the actors obviously show a different side of their characters. The one thing people might find cheesy is when Zac Efron is singing by himself in the song Bet on It, it's a little boy band gone wrong...but overall great movie and i listen to the soundtrack all the time! Can't wait for the movie to come out!

I was forced to watch this by my daughters. I thought it was a complete waste of time. The songs weren't that good and the acting was so overdone. Everyone seemed to be Soap Opera actors but with super overacting. And then every single person was set up as a huge stereotype. The black guy was a sports player, the rich girl was a you know what, the fat girl was a HAIRSPRAY Freak, and blah blah blah. Such a horrible movie. People that think this is what High School is like should be shot. Don't waste your time and don't let your kids watch this no matter what. Such a horrible movie.
