Read More I used to be a Rambo fan in the past and I don't remember the movies very much as it has been years since I ever saw Rambo again or even thought about. So I rented it based on my past experience watching Rambo at a younger age and seeing Sylvester Stallone looking older in the movie, I thought WOW, he really did get aged right there but his acting was still the same as the past movies as he looked stronger and more powerful than ever. I would recommend you to watch this movie and to be honest yes there is a lot of blood but isn't there a lot of blood involved at a war? And about Rambo returning home is good, showing that he is done and this is a happy ending movie for all Rambo fans! We didn't need to see all the body parts and blood & guts flying all over the place. This was a little over done. Of course you have John Rambo, older but as bad as ever. As some other reviews noted, there was plenty of blood and guts in this installment, a considerable more than any previous instalments. But if you get pass this the underlying story is very good and draws you in. Read More This is definitely the most graphically violent movie I have ever seen! It is a very fast paced and action-filled movie with lots of violent gore and carnage: decapitations, mangled and shredded bodies, limbs and blood flying everywere from land mines, 50 caliber machine gun fire, throat cuttings, bellies disembowled, arrow penetrating skulls and torsos, hangings, excecutions, rapings, and massacres aplenty.
If you like blood and gore and carnage, this is your movie.
The special effects are tops, the best, the greatest ever portrayed in any movie.
There is not a lot of dialouge to this movie, mostly action.
It looks like the movie was made completely in Thailand.
