Shane B., looks like you were wrong again after all. By the way, did you go see the movie? You really should see a movie before you waste our time writing a review. If you get a chance, go back and reread what you wrote, and perhaps then you'll understand when I say that I use the word "writing" very loosely when it comes to that dribble you tried to pass off as writing. Your mastery of the English language is simply staggering. As for the movie, it was a decent close to the series. Exactly what was to be expected, and quite good for the genre.

This was the second best movie starring Rambo ("John J?"). The first one will always be the best. It is a fitting close to the series. Far more intense action than the rest and seemed more believable. I felt like he was doing the things in the movie. A must see for any Rambo fan.

AND FOR YOU REVIEWERS WHO DID THINK THERE WAS TOO MUCH GORE, WAR IS HELL AND SHOULDN'T BE GLORIFIED.

Follows true to the Rambo series. I was very impressed with the action scenes and the plot. Wasn't just a bunch of nonscensical action that leave you with the "non-filling" feeling. I was really rutting for Rambo and the mercenaries. The only problem is the color in the film. Everything was bland. I never felt I was in the jungle. This lack of color was somewhat distracting. I think the director was trying to be "artsy fartsy".

WoW! Rambo rocked hard core! I do have one con though, the digital effects used for the numerous gunshots and gore effects, looked like they were created for a tv show. Not quite polished enough to blend into the movie, so a gunshot looked like it was photoshoped onto the film. If you can get past that though, great movie, full of action and violence, the way rambo was meant to be.

Dumbo returns, all steroided up and ready for battle (they kept his walker handy). This entry was probably the most mongoloided of the Dumbo series. Not much of a story to it. The plot was thinner than Stallone's acting. Just enough to warrant slaughter of all who oppose him. This movie gave me bad flashbacks to the 1980s, Ronald Reagan, and the rampant, blind American cheerleading that ensued during and after this horrible and embarrassing period in American history. This movie was made for juvenile Marines who crush beer cans into their heads as a show of their manhood. Those who have moved past that stage in their lives will not find much entertainment here. A better movie would have been "Rambo vs. Braddock" (Chuck Norris). Watching Dumbo and Chuck blow each other up would be REAL entertainment!
