Read MoreUp the middle & to the right 4 stars,not the most original script,BUT there was a twist in the way the characters interacted the Fathers & first son,the witty and sarcastic humor most families can relate, the actors were good .There is also the warm and fuzzy when you see how family sticks together although each one is experiencing personal probs,& some how events allow them to be worked out.Bad reviews based on originality lighten-up ,it's original in it's own way by way of character/family circumstances.I especially liked the disposal of the Escalade,& ass whipping the naked cheating hubby endured ,now thats original. I thought this was a genuine good, wholesome story about a family that we can all relate too directly or indirectly. Thin plotline, poorly developed charactors and so-so dialog.Not much of a Christmas movie it could have just as well been Independence Day or Easter. Music was excellent, movie was a waste of talent , time and money. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreI have to say that this movie wasn't all that. I'd say it was average Black movie. It's the same stories retold all over again with a different cast. I mean, I don't even remember having seen anything in the movie that I hadn't even seen in other movies. While it was a decent movie for passing the time, I wasn't thrilled or touched during any part of it. Yes, Chris Brown was in it and he didn't do a bad job of acting, but his role wasn't important at all. Matter of fact, I don't think anybody's role was important. I really have to give this movie 2 stars, because I am not compelled to ever watch it again, but wasn't totally hating the fact that I saw it... Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
