Read More I know everyone who saw part one is thinking Boogeyman one was a very bad movie, but DO NOT let it discourge you from seeing this second part. Ths is one of the very few movies were the sequel is better. WAY BETTER. Not very many horror movies have suspenseful twists, and this one does so that was a nice touch as well. People ask for a "Good Horror Movie" all the time, and those words seldom go together, but it does here. Give it a try. I think Horror fans like myself will be satisfied. However during the 3rd and final act something struck me.
Was this one of the many rejected Halloween remake scripts ive heard so much about?!?!?!?
SPOILERS AHEAD STOP READING NOW IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THIS YET!
BM2 starts out with a boy & girl who witness their parents killed.
The brother is nuts and spends most of his childhood locked up in an asylum.
His sister is his anchor.
Sister goes nuts when someone starts killing everyone around her surprise surprise in the end she finds out the masked killer is none other than her brother.
A battle ensues she fights for her life and kills him or does she...no body.

Or that is what they want you to think. Such a let down of the Boogeyman character, without giving away the ending, don't be surprised about the Boogeyman. This was like watching Nightmare on Elm Street, the one with the hospital, only worse. There is no scary creature, he hardly shows up in this movie, and the acting is horrible. An interesting twist at the end, but still lame. They decided to add a lot more gore and glood in this version of the movie. That is the only thing that made it worth 1 star. Word of advice though. If you let your younger kids watch the first one, don't let them watch this one. A lot more realistic butchering of the bodies and some nudity and sex in the film. Read More I recommend you not to put this in your queue or you'll suffer the consequences.I admit Tobin Bell(Saw Series)has a great role in this movie and it'll make him popular.But trust the one that has seen it.The story made it weak.The end will make you wish there was a regular ghostly boogeyman as the first movie.The acting was just terrible.Simple as that.
