Its hard to focus on the movie when he looks older than he really is. His days of acting is over. About the movie, it stunk. I didn't enjoy it, because it was kinda long and drawn out. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS VON DAMME MOVIE.hE WAS ALWAYS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ACTORS, BUT IN THIS ONE HE WAS TOTALLY DIFFERENT AND BOTH ME AND MY WIFE DIDN'T LOKE IT. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Worst Van Damme movie I have seen. Either the makeup was very bad or the age is really showing in Van Damme. It was like he really had no interest in doing this movie. Very disappointing. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

All I can say is good for him...He made the movie...for a straight to dvd movie it was rather good...mostly good acting...and action...and by Van Damme bordering on very good acting in this one. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreWell, right off the bat the reviewer(s) (and the DVD box) can't get Van Damme's character's name right, it's Stowe, not Lowe, you imbecile(s). OK, now that we have functional illiteracy out of the way, here we have one of Van Damme's more surprising performances. A supposedly dirty and addicted New Orleans narc, betrayed by almost everyone including his pregnant wife, his character does the decent and honorable thing at virtually every turn, is not invincible, but fights to regain what's lost. This time he understates the martial arts (although the martial arts fight scenes are well choreographed) in favor of character development. A tight and well thought out story line, only a few story line flaws (about neurology issues) and we see Van Damme focus on a believable, vulnerable character as Claude Van Damme matures personally as he matures as an actor in his craft. Kept me on the edge. Great action. The story line was pretty much on line with how cops are crooked in the Big Easy. I am sure elswhere too. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
