We ended up getting ... Read More I was taken aback by this series when I watched a partial clip on Discovery. We were visiting a friend and we watched a Episode on HD which was recorded and it was mindblowing.
We ended up getting the regular DVD on the queue and we received Disc 1 And 2. The DVD's are so addictitive that we watched them both at a stretch during the Xmas vacation. We enjoyed the two Discs and are looking forward to the remainder of the series. The film and the pain everyone who was part of the team to film the clips is worth all the time in the world. The details about the snow leopard and the close up was awesome. The other mind blowing part is the Great White hunting the seal, I would have never thought anyone would be able to film something like that. It is so unreal but so real.

Visually stunning portraits of the world we live in. Views we would never be able to see with our own eyes. Brings a larger appreciation for the earth and all of the life around us that inhabits it. Read More I found this series to be very informative, and enjoyable to watch. Though I did find that every single scene from the movie "Earth" was taken from this series, which is disappointing. This series did have ALOT more information than the movie "Earth" did, and of course "Earth" was narrated by James Earl Jones, and this was not, it's still kind of disappointing. I really did like both of them though, and I would recommend that anyone who likes animals, or is interested in the way the world and it's seasons work, should definetely watch this.
