An oustanding family movie. Everyone with youth in the family should make sure this movie is seen by all of them. Very entertaining for the adults as well.

Set and shot in the heart of texas, this movie shows us an urban teenager's plight to adapt to small town rules. The wild surroundings and his determined grandfather show him his struggle is really deep within himself. Excellent performance by Sam Huntington and Barry Corbin, with a very competent supporting cast. Bound to be a family classic. A must see, for parents, grandfolks and kids just the same!

The cast did an excellent job in portraying the struggles that a young man can face. We appreciated the grandfathers role in trying to teach integrity and respect.

Even with stars like Sam Huntington and Amanda Brooks, this is not a film most teenagers will rush to see. That is a shame. This movie is not only filled with stunning scenery and has great entertainment value, it is full of common sense. Parents and grandparents will enjoy and appreciate this movie. They will see its value. They will also wish they had seen it with their favorite teenager. Sam Huntington (Superman Returns) does a good job as the troubled teen coming of age. Barry Corbin is great as the wise grandfather knowing just how to "lead the horse to water". See this film.
