A boy saves and befriends a mangy ex-circus dog and adopts him as a pet--without his father's knowledge. As the family moves across the country, the dog attempts to follow, getting into close calls and lots of adventures along the way. Will Bingo end up in the arms of his favorite boy? This spoof/adventure/comedy contains some violence and profanity. ~ Kristie Hassen, Rovi

I rented this movie for my children and to our disappointment had to turn it off within ten minutes. If you prefer your children to not watch movies with profanity stay away from this one. This movie is not at all what I expected. It contains language not suitable for young ears. Thank you and I hope this helps.

Inappropriate language throughout the movie. Save your time watching a better movie if kids are involved.

Read the other reviews. Even the kids in the movie cursed. Enough said.

Which is it? My poor wife read the first comment that said suitable for children. Unfortunately, she didn't read further where it says questionable for children. Imagine her chagrin when our 10 year old daughter told her she had to turn off the dvd because of a lot of "Beep" words. Nuff said!!!!

My husband and I were watching this movie with our 6 year old daughter when we were stunned when we heard the first swear words, we decided to give the movie one more chance then saw the boys using profanity to each other and we shut off the movie and will never watch it again. I have never see a more horrible movie geared toward children with such bad influences. It should have been rated AT LEAST PG-13. The only people that would give this movie a good rating is the ones who don't care if their children hear profanity and see it's ok that other kids say it.

Dear Blockbuster , Thanks for introducing my 6 and 8 year olds to words they've never heard before but now know! We turned off this movie in the first 5 minutes due to bad language. This should be pulled immediatley. If you actually read the reviews from your customers you would know this by now. Aren't the reviews here for a reason? Rented this in the store and wish I had rented online to see the customer comments ...I would never have picked it

This movie was great especially when Bingo found out that his heart is with the boy who was saved!

I agree with all of the shock about the cursing. While I know my daughter is exposed to this regularly, I don't think it's appropriate in a movie geared towards kids. And while the dog was super cute, they had horrible themes, people making hot dogs out of the dogs, framing people, setting up bombs, kidnapping families and children throughout, jail breaking and a host of horrible family values (the cop readily tells the football team the kid is safe when he's not so that he won't lose money on a bet) and constant violence.

This is NOT a cute, warm and fuzzy dog-and-kid movie. This is a parody of all the dog-and-kid movies out there. It's definitely not for young children (as the disgruntled parents' reviews will tell you). It's quite absurd and, if you're in the right frame of mind, laugh-out-loud funny at times. Give it a shot, if you're not offended by off-color humor. One thing I greatly appreciated was the absence (with one brief exception) of adolescent "fart" jokes.

Really cute. Bingo gets a job as a restaurant dishwasher, does a stint in prison, etc, until he comes through and overcomes a lifelong fear of fire to finally save his boy. My 9-year old loves it. There is a little bad language, but given the attention span of most kids, they are too caught up in the dog's antics to notice the language, which is nothing she hasn't heard before on television/movies.
