A storyline that was worse than the 2nd and 3rd. Ford's heart did not seem in it, nor did mine after the first hour. The rest of the actors added little to the picture. Almost fell asleep during the last 30 minutes. Not much else to say about it. Was more of a way to make Lucas and Spielberg a bit more dough, and not a way to send out a great franchise. Sad. Sadly i must say it was a disapointment. The story was completely unbelievable and the acting had nothing of substance. Cate Blanchett was absolutely ridiculous in this film, and Shia Lebouf was even worse. He was completely out of character. It is my forth favorite out of the four films. The only reason worth seeing this film is the beautiful sets and the action. I will not be renting this film when it comes out, and i will surely not be buying it either. My Indiana Jones collection will do just fine without this installment.

However, it lacks any of the magic that the previous films possessed. This one looks like it was rushed with a very loose plot (very silly at times) and absolutely no realism, as this time it seems that Indy is invincible and nothing in the universe could ever harm him. It is still a decent action/adventure film but don't expect to revisit the magic and nostalgia of the previous classic films. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More The movie started off a little strange, and I was not sure what to think, but the minute Indy's hat hits the ground and the trademark music played, I got goosebumps on my arms. It did not matter that Indy was a bit older than I last remembered him - even he commented on it. Once the whip comes out, I was once again pulled into the Indiana Jones universe, with all the running, jumping and explosions I've come to expect to expect.
The ending could have used a little bit of help, but I still enjoyed it. I don't want to give it away, so I will just say it deviates from the religious icons story line of Lost Ark and Last Crusade. The ending was set up nicely to allow for a continuation of the Indiana Jones storyline. I hope the end never comes. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

And the way the kid takes to vine-swinging make me wonder "Eh?" a bit. But I absolutely loved the original three movies, and just seeing a favorite character in action again was worth it. How come people have become so pessimistic? It was an entertaining time. Like Indy said, "Not as easy as it used to be." A break from the mundane reality of life is why I visit movie theaters and that's what this movie delivered. Some folks need to lighten up an enjoy what they've been given. Harrison ford is back and kicking ass and taking names! With great performances form Harrison Ford, Ray Winstone, Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett and Karen Allen this is the most fun you'll have with a movie all year. this film still has the charm that all other 3 films had, including the great comedy.
