How is this a remake of the original Prom Night? Other than the title, how are they even related?? I hated this movie. It was dull, painfully predictable, not scary in the least, and the acting just made me laugh. It was one of the worst horror movies I've ever seen and believe me, my expectations for this movie were about as low as they could get. Stay away and don't waste your time. The good reviews on here have to be from 10 year olds.

Prom Night is the worst of the current onslaught of horror remakes. This movie is a complete insult to the viewers intelligence. I thought we got past the cliched horror conventions where everyone makes the exact wrong decision just to propel the plot. The characters are dumb, the police are dumber, and the whole the is painfully boring. Talk about terrible acting, this cast has some young stars but they absolutely suck. Does anyone believe these people are actually friends or in love? Terrible chemistry. The movie is the basic "set em up knock em down" story. So predictable and so dumb. This is dog crap from the start. Everyone who's involved with this movie should be ashamed of themselves.
