A really nice little movie. If you liked movies like Sandlot or Stand By Me you'll enjoy this as well. The two main character kids are complete unknowns, but they work great in the movie. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

It gets to the heart of friendships and bonds that occur in childhood development. The film does get a little lost about 3/4 ths of the way through; I feel the studio tried to control the story for expense control or brevity. But ironically so the the initial plot. Haha film making, salah satu hal yang fun! para pemerannya benar2 top! masih kecil tapi benar2 cocok. Will yang agak2 nerdy, dan Lee yang slengean. Film ini boleh lah disetarakan dengan Finding Neverland, walaupun berada sedikit dibawahnya. tapi masing2 film memang punya isi yang berbeda. Finding Neverland tentang imajinasi yang tidak akan pernah mati, sedangkan Son of Rambow lebih ke brotherhood dan friendship. Film dengan semangat independen ini boleh lah bikin orang nangis [okay, I admit I was crying] tapi haha nangisnya bukan karena tersendu-sendu, nangis yang lebih ke lucu, bahagia, masalah bisa teratasi, terharu [harusnya ada kata baru untuk definisi tangis satu ini].
