Director and screenwriter Adam Bhala Lough takes the reigns for this tale of suburban mayhem that made its world premiere at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. It's the end of another work week in a typical, working class American suburb, and everyone is looking to cut loose before getting back into the daily grind come Monday. When a series of vicious and apparently random youth-related killings shake this quiet community to its very core over the course of three unforgettable days, however, an investigation soon leads the populace to find that there may be a connecting string that ties all of these brutal homicides together. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
this movie was okay. if you like kids or bully this would fall behind them. not as much nudity as kids or bully, IDK i think the girls were a little younger than the other movies. if you like old school houston rap or the real DJ Screw than the soundtrack is a 10, the movie about a 5.
This movie starts with the ending and bounces back & forth as it works its way back to the end. Some of the scenes are dragged out ,& is reminiscent of Bully, only not as good.Nick Cannon does not seem to fit the role. The title Weapons ,was this suppose to be a message about weapons, or a story about an outcast, who didn't fit ,ultimately not caring ,which leads to the eventual plot.Another movie where you determine whatever at the end, nothing riveting or memorable with this one .Oh can't remember any investigation throughout, but I remember a kid sitting in his car awaiting his fate just before the credits.
