Kristin Kreuk really showed that her tv gig may be holding her back, She shined bright in a tale that deals with the horrible prejudice that is presently hurting us all.

I am a history buff on India and especially the days of the British Raj. This movie is very good but you need to know the history of India's Independence and the end of the British Raj to fully understand Partition. Well made movie Good acting and a great job of turning British Columbia into the Punjab.

We really thought that there would be a happy ending, it was just devastating! As hard as they fought to be together and to end it with a widow and fatherless child was just heartrending. The love story though was one for the age's. Just a classic tale of rare love between two people. She is so young and she has many years before she can join her beloved in heaven. But she will never be alone as he will be with her in spirit for all time. She will wait for him, she will not break their true love and bond by meeting someone else in this physical life, her love is for him and him alone. That is true love and that is rare love! Very few of us can understand that kind of depth.
