Well I watched the whole thing and I will say the best part of the movie is the part that was in the trailer, and the rest made very little sense.

By far the worst acting ever. I had to turn it off after 10 minutes. I truely do not know what Tarentino was thinking and you couldnt understand him in the movie.

I don't know what Billy F. is smoking, but we all should get some so that we can watch ANY movie and think it's wonderful. This one is pathetic. Disjointed, pointless, plodding, and confusing to boot. Plus, you are required to endure some atrocious "acting" from Quentin Tarantino, one of Hollywood's greatest non-talents...in scenes that don't even belong in this movie. Basically this is nothing more than an excuse to show as much blood spatter as possible, and a complete and utter waste of your time. It is crap.

I usually like Miike films, but this was just plain weird. I'm a pretty big fan of Asian movies, but this thing made no sense!! If you have absolutely nothing else to do, I guess this might be worth a rental. If you're into Kenjutsu, Yoshitsune does a couple of pretty cool Noto's, but that's about it.

This is a port of an Asian Western by Quentin Tarantino into English (the actors speak English.) The film is about two rival clans who have taken over a small mining town in search of the miners secret gold treasure. In the middle of this rival is a crazy sheriff, a lone expert gunman, a mentally shattered whore, a mute kid and his female alcoholic legendary gun-woman caretaker. Wide cast of characters, but the movie doesn't focus or go too deep into any one character. This movie can be very difficult to follow even for an Asian movie. This movie is a lot like other Samurai films, just take away the swords and give them guns. Gun fighting is pretty much point, shoot, die except for the main characters who can do very extraordinary shooting. The movie stylizes itself after the War of the Roses in England. Tutor roses and the red vs white costumes. Graphic violence, adult situations and a rape scene.

I couldn't even watch it. After the first hour I turned it off. "You a day late and a dollar short"

In the Tarantino tradition, this remake of the western classic "Django" is hyper-stylized, incredibly finely crafted, and an awful lot of fun.

Billy F. must work for the movie studio that put this out. The previews looked cool, Quentin Tarantino was a part of this, how could you go wrong? However, the movie moves way too slow. Plus it was a bit artsy for my taste. There are many better asian westerns than this one. Skip it.
