Lame story line. Extremely poor acting. One of the slowest movies with boring scenes that go absolutely nowhere. A complete waste of time. Looks like it was shot with one camera.

Target audience: 13 -16 year olds with a passion for skateboarding. First Gus Van Sant film for me (not sure if there are that many out there). He has good artistic vision for film but the acting (except for actor playing Alex) was pretty weak -- and so was the under developed plot. Gus will have a great film career ahead of him if he has a decent budget and better actors to work with.
