Read More This movie is the perfect example of total lack of talent by the screen writer.There is absolutely no need to make a movie so repulsive to be funny. Some people think the only way to make comedy is with a disproportionate dose of cursing, sex,drug,and ridicule. This movie is a total waste of time. Please get a book. Only idiotic humor from one end to the other.If you are older than say...19,there will be no fun. If you are a teenager, maybe all the nonsense will amuse you. Read More I dont mind a little drugs (after all I did see H&K part 1) and I don't mind a little sex, but what we got was over the top crude. The sandwich thing was TOO much, the shot of Kumar in bed while Harold packed for Amsterdam was TOO much, Kumar in bed with his g/f was TOO much. It wasn't funny, it was disgusting. It did get a few laughs out of me, but basically I'm very disappointed in this. These great comedy actors were handed a crappy plot and a crappy script. It was nowhere near as funny as the first movie and I felt the first 20 minutes was rushed through. Neil Patrick Harris was the star of this movie. The few times I laughed, were the scenes he was in. These guys are the new wave Cheech & Chong. As for my advise to you, well if you are a stick in the mud(stuck up). Then you will hate this film! But if not,then you will love it. I cannot believe that this film got bad reviews. People talk bad about it because of drug and sex use. But what i do not understand is...do these poeple even look at the ratings before they rent a movie? OK if you like Super Troopers, Road Trip or Euro-Trip then you will love this one. It is even better than those movies...it had me laughing non-stop.There are no slow or dry parts in the entire movie.Trust me, if you like to look at naked chicks then you will have to rent or buy it. Read More if you don't expect too much from this one or even feel a need to compare it to the first one, then it is brainless humor, but it does provide laughs. the movie doesn't take itself seriously and there are moments that had me laughing out loud. everyone that the duo run across is so blatantly over the top, it is ridiculous but that was what they were going for. harold and kumar actual make a good comedic duo and the 'uptight/laid back' dynamic for the younger generation works and gels. don't take it too seriously and enjoy it for its absurdity. i did! ;) Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
