Read More "Seen that/heard that" was what came to mind as I tried to watch this movie. Will Farrell played the same character he always does, but the sophomoric humor even lacked substance. Waste of my time, waste of Will Farrell altogether. Seems like he did so well when he worked with Chris Kattan in their first movie. Read More The most enjoyable Will Ferrell movie of this type yet. For being R-rated it seemed to have the least amount of offensive material (either that or I'm getting used to it). Best of all, it actually had a full story line with multiple characters to love instead of just Will Ferrell. Even if you don't like basketball, this movie is worth watching at least once. 15 out of 27 people found this review helpful For along time now Will Ferrell has been in movies that have become cult classics such as Ancorman, Elf, Night at the Roxbury, Talladaga Nights and so on. He did some real acting in stranger than fiction and really showed that not only is he the funniest man in hollywood but he showed that he is a true actor but finaly he comes back with one of the Funniest movies of his carrer Semi Pro. The Character of Jackie Moon is one of his best it compares to Ricky Bobby and Buddy from Elf but It does not touch the Character of Ron Burgendy his best role to date .... but dont get me wrong Will Ferrell Delivers as Jackie Moon in a Big Way...... With help from woody harlson and the surprize acting performence of Andre 3000 from outcast makes this one of the best comedys of the summer. Enjoy!WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||
