If you are a John Cusack fan (or even if you are not), then you need to watch this film. It is an incredibly wild and quircky ride, and it puts the current world situation in a very sardonic, darkly humorous light. Very, very cleverly written and a fine job of acting by all, including surprisingly Hilary Duff, who does a really good job playing her character.

Republicans naturally will hate it, because it skewers the Bush administration. This is not a good film due to the poor plotting, but I've seen worse in Oscar winning films (Atonement; No Country for Old Men). It is at least entertaining and the women look good in short skirts. Heckuva redeeming quality in a film.

I don't think I have ever seen a movie John has been in that I didn't at least laugh or gasp once....This is it. He has finally gotten himself involved in a political satire flop. It may be some stunt to promote Hilary Duff but it was horrible. Beginning to end. Don't watch it. Better to turn your TV to a channel full of static or go outside and lay in the road.
