A bizarre movie. Very much like Grosse Pointe Blank ( Cusack plays an assassin w/ a moral crisis in this film too) only less funny. Very heavy handed with the political agenda, and I think that takes a lot of the humor out of it. Oddly enough, I thought Hilary Duff did a good job in this movie, her character was one of my faves. I would say this movie is worth a watch if you are a serious Cusack fan, or enjoy indie films.

This is the closest thing to a sequel to a very good movie called "Grosse Point Blank". This movie was not very good though. The beginning was especially slow and while attempting to be funny and over the top, it just wasn't funny. If you didn't see Grosse Point Blank, rent that instead. This one is disappointing in comparison.

To think John Cusack had something to do with the writting of this movie just shows that just as good players don't make good coaches, neither do good actors make good writers. I enjoy all sort of comedies but the problem with this one is that it is well... just not funny at all. I never fall asleep during a movie and I always finish watching them no matter how bad, however I fell alseep during this one and missed the ending, my loss.
