This is a terrific spy thriller from the mid sixties when the genre was at its height. Based on the John Le Carre novel, Richard Burton is excellent as over burdened secret agent.

This movie was dreadfully slow - while trying to watch it, I fell asleep twice. Not only is it slow, but it's confusing and so boring, you really don't want to figure it out. Not worth watching!

RB in Top form in a really good story. He seems remarkably dissolute in appearance and attitude. Alos Oskar Wener is great, as is the whole cast really.
