Read More This movie was just so-so. I was hoping it would be something to watch with kids (9 and 11) but alot of A**hole throughout movie among other things (SC scene nothing shown but implied). There are also a lot of scenes with drinking or being drunk.
The movie was really not that funny and you can't feel sorry for someone that does not care. At least I don't.

An easy five-star, gotta see flick. Lot's of solid laughs, great character, terrific cast, clever action, and a solid plot. Will Smith creates the perfect super hero and makes it real. The story moves along without a dull moment. I'm a big fan of super hero movies and this is at the top of the list. I can't remember the last movie I gave 5 stars to but this was an easy call. Despite a promising beginning, the movie quickly devolves into....nothing. No plot whatsoever. No bad guys to speak of. No details on Hancock's origin, except some incoherent ramblings by Charlize Theron...Basically, nothing here except some average special effects, one decent laugh (in the prison), and the feeling that thank God I didn't spend money on this thing when it was in the theaters!
