I thought this movie was pretty good. I saw the bad reviews and wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised.

It didn't jump off the screen but it definitely held my attention throughout. Owen Wilson, and Will Farrell need to step up their script selection, but they are starting to become spotlight actors. Their fans want to see more than the usual "Mike Meyers" sort of movies. Owen Wilson I felt delivered a mediocre performance, but it wasn't entirely disappointing. Of course, I shouldn't be surprised that we have yet another lame attempt by Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow. I don't know who keeps giving these guys money, but their attempts at humor are so forced that they come off as lame and stupid. The script is boring and uninspired, and the whole situation around the bully is just unrealistic. The first time he hit my kid, I'd have him locked up. Bad story, worse humor, out-acted by children...are we really surprised that Wilson tried to overdose if this is the caliber of roles he's getting? Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

With that being said, this was probably not one of his better works. Some of the jokes were lame, storyline was decent. Would not watch again, but 3 stars cause I was able to finish it. Trust me it was bad every thing,and I like Owen Wilson.The writers were trying very hard to come up with a funny script and failed.The only funny scene :2 kids decided to brush-up on their defense skills and that was in the trailer.Some people will think any thing is funny!!!!!!!
