Read MoreI had never heard of this movie before I rented it, but I'm glad I did! Okay, it may seem like this is one of those movies that you have to watch because you lost a bet to your wife or girlfriend, but I found this movie to be all that you could ask for in a romantic comedy and much more!
It was charming, funny, heart-warming, honest, and most of all...just a movie that is well worth your time to watch. Another joy was the characters are very unique and refreshing! Also, the movie didn't follow the usual romantic comedy blueprint that is so overused! I think it is a movie that speaks to the romantic in all of us! I pretty much like this movie. It was romantic, funny, original and with and unexpected ending. Some scenes were kind of weird, but I would recommend it. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreThe story is romantic to a point, but I feel it was more of the main character, Elisha Cuthbert, finding someone to love her even though she was an alcoholic. The scenes are very slow moving and it's like she is drunk forevever. She puts this poor guy through the ringer but he comes back for more. This movie starts out much like a kids story. It's told in story book fashion. And doesn't get any better. It's not innocent ,though, like a kid's story and too bizarre to enjoy. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

The story plods along never getting out of first gear. Got bored hoping it would improve but finally turned it off.
