Read MoreI found the character of Jordan to be an obnoxious, spoiled drunk rather than cute and sassy. It was so over the top that I couldn't believe a nice young man with a future would put up with her destructive, bizarre antics. Charlie's character had redeeming qualities and I was waiting throughout the entire movie for him to come to some realization or growth or something that would send him in the opposite direction. The story plods along never getting out of first gear. Got bored hoping it would improve but finally turned it off.
I like Elisha Cuthbert, but not in this movie. The story is just so slow moving. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read Morenot good. although i don't even think that the original was as good as people say it was, at least with the korean movie the characters seemed to have chemistry and in an asian sort of irreverent way, the movie worked. in the american version, there is no chemistry between the characters and you wonder why it was remade. sort of like 'the lake house,' the 2nd version does not need to be made. some books don't translate well and often movies do not, either. i could not sit through this one. how are the blockbuster 'member ratings' so high when the reviews are low? i'll never understand that!
