Alot better than I thought it would be. Good to see Bob Newhart. Take a chance and rent this movie.

Good family movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. I liked the mix of dry humor, silliness, action and adventure. It kept parents and kids interested.

This was an enjoyable movie, and we actually liked this one better than the first one. Wish there were more, it's an intersting theme and overall well done and fun for the entire family.

Enjoyable flick, like an Indiana Jones flick. Lighthearted, Adventurous, Not too serious with a few laughs.

I'm a push-over for the Librarian movies. The movie is light, entertainment, goofy punch lines, no brainer storyline, that I deem is relaxing and enjoyable. If you want depth, try a different movie. For kickback, turn off the brain, and enjoy a casual adventure and a few laughs - the Librarain delivers.

Not as good as the first Librarian movie. Saddled with contrived situations, like Flynn running into people he knows in Africa. He meets the girl his mother introduced him to and his uncle. If it was just his uncle, it wouldn't have been too bad. Gabrielle Anwar was like Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, right down to the clothes. The scenery was great, but one part was out of focus. The villains weren't very interesting. The first movie wasn't a classic, but this just seemed lazy and half-hearted. There wasn't much passion.

Eugene on here said it best--and I'm surprised to see so many "glorious" reviews. This was a highly contrived second outing for the series, just like any good sequel it offered more flash and less substance. The first movie had our bumbling hero with a whipsmart (yet utterly useless) sensibility and style, and in this one the writing was far less clever as they continue to wreck more and more scenes and sequences from the likes of Tomb Raider, Indiana Jones, and even a Star Wars-esque duel for the "big climax"--not the sarcasm. I wasn't exactly raving about the first movie, but it was charming and dopey and silly, this sequel however just felt very shallow even despite the assumed money they spent on travel expenses they made up for it with definite made-for-tv cgi, cinematography and badly-done props; all things that I thought they did very right with the first installment.
