Read MoreI first saw this on a big screen when I was about 11. I was enthralled by the story, the scenery and the musical score, I purchased the soundtrack which is great. I was disappointed that the soundtrack left out the music when the Major's men are riding into Blanco Canyon. I own the movie and have watched it many times. I love Jean Simmons. A classic western. Saw it on Public Television last night after the Texas Tech / Oklahoma game became a rout. My normal bedtime is 9:00 ET, but this movie kept up until 1:00. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
