Read MoreWOW! After seeing that same famous clip of Gene Kelly so many times over the years, I finally watched the entire film. Man, this is good! I never realized what a hottie Donald O'Connor was in his day. I think he actually upstages Gene Kelly in a few dance numbers. If you haven't seen this, you are in for a HUGE surprise at how COLORFUL it is. The story is fun. The big "production number" dance sequences are monumental. And, you probably won't even recognize Rita Moreno. I'm renting this again and I can't wait to watch it again. Watch it with kids and tell them Princess Leah's (Star Wars) mother is in the movie.
