Read More This show is just incredible, every episode is so intriguing. I don't find it slow at all because I'm too busy absorbing everything that is being set up for future episodes. I just hope that when the show is "really" over, it leaves us satisfied. (Un-like "Carnivale" a great series, couldn't wait for the next episodes, then got cancelled and ended so-so, but still worth watching) Missing bits & pieces of the first season turned me off. But as soon as the 1st season was available to rent, BINGO! Renting/ buying the entire season is the way to go. You don't miss a thing due to commercials or forgetting about the show if you're busy. It is IMPOSSIBLE to take your eyes off of this!!! Each episode answers one question and adds 5 more to the list! After seeing this season, it has me more lost then the characters!!! We were hooked after the first episode! We couldn't stop watching it ! My husband was taking long lunches so we could get caught up to present. We cannot wait for season 4!. Best show on TV. About midway thru Season 2, a friend of mine started watching the show and told me I should do the same. I rented the first 2 DVD's of Season 1 and watched them back to back over one weekend. The characters are just as loveable as ever, and the new characters from "The Others" bring mystery and intrigue to the cast and plot. With the fourth season just beginning on television, it is almost necessary to watch Season 3 to truly understand the concepts of "The Island".
