Read More if u are over the age of 40 you will not get this guys humor. if u are under that then get ready for a BLASTY BLAST. this guy is much funnier watching him flop around the stage like a maniac than just listening to him, but he's still funny just listening to him.but that's not the same because it's funnier watching him instead of listening to him. take that home, enjoy it , you'll like it. He seems to have no discernable point of view, ... Read More I finally saw Dane Cook, after being told by everyone how funny he is. I chuckled a couple times, but nothing I can remember and I just watched it. He seems to have no discernable point of view, other than he wants to be cool. He certainly would never say anything to offend his audience or at the very least challenge them, like David Cross or Bill Hicks. He certainly has a lot of energy, but I kept waiting for him to say something interesting or at least something I haven't heard better stand ups say, and say them better. If you have a really funny friend who tells stories really well, then you have seen Dane Cook's act. For me he just struck me as a user friendly Andrew Dice Clay. I wish him luck.
