I love both Don Cheadle and Adam Sandler, so that's what made me pick up this movie at the video store. Cheadle portrays a dentist who is bored with his life and runs into his former dental school roommate (Sandler). Sander's character lost his family in a plane crash on 9/11 and has suffered from mental problems since. The two renew their friendship and change each others' lives for the better. This is more of a darker role for Sandler, but he does a great job with the heavy material. Give this one a chance!

It was well done! It was authentic enough to put a lump in my throat at times. Adam Sandler was perfect for the part and really nailed it. He played to the seriousness of his character well.

I must say this was one of Adam Sandler best movies roles yet. Some of my friends stated the movie was good but I thought it was great! The movie had laughter, sadness and kept you on edge waiting to see what Charlie (Adam) was going to do next. Great movie, you won’t go wrong in renting it.

Very real and hard to see because of the subject matter... but I thought it was very well done and very touching to see what the outcome was. Definitely not a typical Adam Sandler movie.

My wife got this movie for date night and I was skeptical. Adam Sandler was great in this flick. For those guys who have to do a chic flick night, this is one you can suggest.

This movie has a great story to tell, unfortunately Sandler is not the guy for Fineman role. Cheadle was gold, as expected. I hardly even realized Pinkett Smith in the movie, same for Liv Tyler. Sandler is hardly believable as man in distress. He reincarnates his Billy Madison role and adds a little more "scary" to his goofy shouting and outbursts. Sorry to say, it's another comedian, acting serious, gone bad. Thanks to Don Cheadle for keeping me interested in this one.

Adam Sandler at his worst. I'm as interested in watching depressing movies as much as the next viewer, but this one takes the cake. I liked the story, the premise was good. Don Cheadle was as upbeat and charasmatic as he was allowed to be. Adam Sandler on the other hand had the same mopey, depressed face through the ENTIRE movie. His mumbling and looking at the ground for over two hours was more depressing than the movie itself. I reluctantly watched this through to the end. I found it boring, despite the shot at livening it up with Don Cheadles stalker patient. If not for her, this show would have been absolutely the most boring show ever made. Stick to comedies Adam! Don't get any more dramatic than CLICK!
