You don't have to be a detective to see that this is a good movie. The movie begins and you don't stop laughing. Not only is Steve Carell making you laugh with his funny comments. But his facial expressions are hilarious. Anne Hathaway adds perfectly to the movie. Not only is she a young and talented actress but she adds to the movie in a terrific way. I'm all for originality and there wasn't a time in the movie where I was 'didn't I see that before?' Smart story, smart cast, and smart fun. So get smart and watch this movie.

I like Steve Carell but it felt like he was just playing another Office role. The three stars were more for Anne Hathaway and The Rock. Steve Carell just could not capture the bumbling genius of Don Adams. Quite a disappointment.

Christmas Love

Not as funny as the TV show. And The ROCK added nothing to it Get Smart would of been a lot better without him in the movie.

This was worth watching if you are a fan of the Get Smart TV series. It was only vaguely similar but the comedy was on the same lines and it had more excitement.

Overall, this movie was really well done. Good satire of a lot of spy movies, great slapstick (funny how it still works on us), good acting (Rock's humor surprised me), and very good stunt scenes.

Very poor rendition of the original. Even the catch phrases were done poorly. Funny yes, but don't waste your time.
