It was not scary... At all... I think I would have liked it more if I wasn't expecting a horror movie... I hated the ending... This could have been a lot better... A lot... When the movie ended, we looked at each other and said, "I can't believe we wasted our money on this..." If it's on television, watch it, sure... I watch every horror movie that comes out, and I do agree that this movie wasn't really a horror movie, but instead ... Read More I know alot of people bashed this movie, and I don't completely understand. I watch every horror movie that comes out, and I do agree that this movie wasn't really a horror movie, but instead suspense. I thought it was actually interesting, with decent acting, and storyline. The last twenty minutes was slightly dissatisfying but it's still better than alot of these horrible "horror" movies that have come out lately. If you've recently been disappointed with a lot of the zombie movies that've come out, then this movie is at least entertaining. Like MplsFonz said, " Worth watching once. Read More An interesting cover to the DVD case implies that the movie may be halfway decent. However, with a C list cast, a horrible storyline and a complete lack of "keep me watching", the movie leaves you waiting for something interesting at all to happen. At no point in this movie was I ever wondering what would happen, simply because what did happen was so stupid. The dumb "feeling/creature" was grossly absurd and didn't even fit with the movie. The movie may have had a chance if it changed the actors, director and storyline... basically everything. You will never get the 2 hours back that you wasted watching this movie. As a horror film, it does take it's time to get going. The film slowly builds tension ... Read More I am not exactly sure what film these other reveiwers watched, but I found this very engrossing and satisfying. As a horror film, it does take it's time to get going. The film slowly builds tension and a feeling of isolation to the stranded oil workers. As the film progresses you get a strong sense of "we are not alone out here" mythology, complete with native american references and global warming warnings. I thought the ending of the film was smart and scary , with some horrific images. Played like a more graphic , tense twilight zone in many ways. Definately a thinking mans horror film.
