If you read the book- and are looking forward to seeing the movie- then forget it! They changed so muchn that it is hardly recognizable.... pass on the movie and let the good memories of the book ...

Another great book KILLED when they attempt to turn it into a movie.....so sad. How could the author have allowed this to happen to her story?

I was on the fence about this movie but I am glad I rented it. Not only was the scenery beautiful but the men were superb! Gerard Butler was wonderful; he makes me want to go to Ireland to find a man! It really is a great movie to sit at home and watch - just curl up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a box of tissues; enjoy the movie!
