Read MoreI thought this was a good movie, although not a comedy. It shows that not all men abandon their children, and not all mothers look out for their children's best interests. It was hard to watch the girls' mom being such an abusive b---- and those girls crying just breaks your heart... but that's how good the acting was! I didn't really care much about the romance, I cared more about the girls being able to stay with Monty lol. Read MoreI have to agree with Diogenes comments. The movie was all right. Not good, not bad...maybe a little fluffy. Very much of the dialog, characters and situation were overly cliche, and they didn't manage to pull it off in a terribly interesting way. I had a bit of trouble seeing the contrast of the nightmare the children were going through with the focus on the budding romance.
