This movie is a total waste of time. Hollywood fluff. Perhaps McConaughey and Hudson were just fulfilling a contract because this movie is an awful waste of time. As a comedy, it's not funny and the gags are redundant and boring. As an adventure, it just isn't exciting or fun. And a date movie, not unless you don't want to want to date anymore. Read MoreThe story moves quickly as an adventure but also as a silly comedy considering how silly the two interpreters are. Donald Sutherland is really wasted in the part of the rich yacht owner and his daughter is throughly mentally deficient. Yet I continued to watch because the scenery and the shots on the sea are really outstanding. The location is supposed to be the Florida Keys yet there are hills in the scenes that just don't exist in the Key West area; therefore the movie is not realistically correct. It is fun to watch, though, so I recommend it as a very light headed amusement. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
