This was a phenomenal movie. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I've never seen such great performances, especially from the star who protrayed--DJ. Awesome job. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreI own this movie, Its an okay movie. Megan Goode needs to expand her acting, she does to many movies like this. The most dramatic thing I have seen her play is in Eve's Bayou. Columbus Short is a pretty good actor, I see him going places as his career advances. Chris Brown was in it for 2 seconds, I thought he would be in it more. Read MoreTerribly bad script - same old story told over and over again - and not even told as well. HOWEVER, bad script and weak story aside - some entertainin' stepping going on - Columbus Short was pretty darn good with such a bad script, and Brian J. White is just purty to look at period - and? Surprisingly gave a good performance as well, and I look forward to seeing more from both of them in a better film next time. Not so great performances by most else however, to go along with the not so great at all script..but as I said, the dancin/steppin' did make up for it (some). There are hard choices to make and possibly a traumatic experience that this dancing will alleviate. Ugh, hang on I taste bile. Then there's the hard choice to make, "turn to the life on the street/gangs/drugs or Dance/Stomp/learn/whatever. I hate Hollywood and this cookie cutter garbage.
