Having grown up in Palo Alto, I was curious and had to see this film. Before watching I wondered what the connection was to the city. After seeing the film, I'm not quite sure. It is filmed there, but a number end up being Menlo Park (next door). The story has a familiar theme about how we change after high school. I am glad that the film did not devolve into a 'teen comedy' or 'coming of age' story. The commercialized poster suggests this to be a teen comedy, but I found the indie content much more satisfying. There are (4) story arcs that we follow, and some are more successful than others. I guess for me it does come back to why Palo Alto as oppose to any other affluent suburb. The messages of these 'kids' is true in many suburbs. I found the story of how the production team got this film made nearly as interesting as the film itself. Not for everyone, but enjoyable for me.

This was a horrible movie. Instead of just turning off I skimmed all the way to the end. Way too much sex....and for no reason. I remember how fun it was to return back home after being away at college and I felt that could have been captured here. Instead it was just.....really really really weak and stupid and a complete waste of time. The disappointing thing is that the concept is good and the movie could have been...watchable? DO NOT RENT-NO REASON TO WASTE TIME LIKE THIS.

This movie was not bad at all. It was cute to see how these guys all learn a little bit about themselves through the movie. Definitely had it's funny parts...kind of reminded me of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (it wasn't as good, but it reminded me of that TYPE of movie).
