Read More I don't agree that this is the best Die Hard yet, but it is quite entertaining as there are some spectacular action scenes. The actor that shines here is Justin Long while the other actors suffer from over-acting and corny dialogue. I was also thankful the Unrated version was included on the DVD because the PG-13 version just doesn't cut it. You just can't take the "F" words out of a Die Hard movie. Unlike the previous movies where you felt that the plot could actually happen, the plot of this movie is ridiculously unrealistic. This is fine but just shows the aging of this franchise. Belief in Superman and Yoda required. If you choose not to be so abandoned, however, then this film, umm, I mean farce, is a hoot, especially the last half hour. Remember, the old man is really a good comedian, prone to satire. Some CGI and other FX looked a bit tiny-town. But the old man is always entertaining if you wear your thinking cap slightly askew, and ignore the laws of science, etc. (If you want to see an excellent Willis film, check out "Hostage" (05) with Jonathan Tucker.)
