This is a really good horror flick it has many twists and turns. Keeps you on the edge throughout the movie. The plot is excellent and keeps you interested. If you like horror you wll definately like this film. I would recommend you go out and rent it NOW. Believe me it will be one of the better horror flicks without all the blood and gore.

Let's face it. With 90% of horror movies of this type you have to throw your brain out the window and just accept what they are feeding you. What's the point in complaining that a ghost couldn't dial a phone? From strictly a horror movie standpoint I thought this was a good film. It definitely has the Asian Horror feel, right down to the ending which is similar to many of the Asian films. The scares are done right. The CGI is used sparingly and looked good. Mainly I was suprised to find this movie to be so spookey. It really has some frightening parts. If you want realistic then don't watch this movie. If you want to let your mind go and enjoy some creepy killings then give it a shot.

I went to see this movie because I said the original a few years ago expecting this one to live up to it like "The RIng," did, but I was wrong. This movie was changed up so much I was like, "Damnit you guys ruined a great classic asian horror film!" I was not pleased with the direction, story or acting. I'D RECOMMEND WATCHING THE ORIGINAL IF YOU DON'T CARE FOR IT, THEN MAYBE THIS AMERICAN VERSION WILL BE BEFORE FOR YOU.

I've seen both of the japanese movies(one missed call 1&2) and they were both great horror movies. I just hope that the american version doesn't go off path of the originals like so many other foriegn conversions of movies. I really enjoyed the originals so I am hesitant about seeing the american version in 2008.
