Read More I saw this in an almost full theater and had the same reaction most of my fellow viewers did. We laughed when it wasn't supposed to be funny and when it was over I heard at least 10 different people say it was the stupidest movie they'd ever seen. What was Ed Burns doing in this? Implausible (to an extreme, boring and mostly completely unfrightening). Easily the worst movie in any genre that I have ever seen. Thankfully it was only 87 minutes. Read More Interesting concept to me. I pretty much enjoyed the first two-thirds of the movie but, as with so many horror films these days, was put off by the ending. It's unfortunate because that's your lasting impression. There were some suspenseful moments and the special effects were pretty good. Read More Watch the Japanese version, it is way better as they almost always are. It kept up with the original fairly well, then they started twisting it, and I just don't think it worked for them. If I had known this was yet again another Japanese remake of another played out plot I would have shirked it like the plague those films have become- Silly Americans!! Avoid This and save your yen.
