I love how the story was told through the father to his daughter. It makes you look at some choice that you thik you made that were wrong and find out how they really fit in the big picture, and how they were just stepping stones. During the movie, I said, "gosh this is like a love story between father and daughter, too", and I was amazed that in looking at how the movie was made that they said that. Really enjoyable! It's a fairly O.K film but it needed to have more substance than it did. The interaction between Reynolds and Breslin are really good and their chemistry as father and daughter is genuine and sweet but outside of them , the film dragged onward and downward by its own inability to get the actors to go more outside of their cliché characters and surroundings . This is where the film falters. And it has parts where its just plain boring and your waiting for the scene to end. You CALL THAT A FIVE STAR MOVIE?????????????????
